This is my very first post for MGC, and I have to say that I entirely love its concept to bits. These days we are getting so much obsessed with reviews before buying things and this blog will surely benefit its readers to core. My name is Sana; I have completed my BBA and am waiting for the entrance exams to soon join an MBA course. I am from Kerala, the God’s Own Country. So let us move straight to the review.

My take on Indomie Instant Noodles Chicken Flavor
Few years before, when I and my sister would do anything for Maggi, we had our first try with it. those times this use to come with onion oil and soy sauce unlike Maggi. The noodles prepared will be slippery and all greasy at once you add them. We somehow hated it those days and even wondered if someone would really like eating these noodles! Later after 2 years, my elder sister came and told me that her friends used to vouch for these noodles. We were initially surprised to hear it and later thought to give it a try once again. And this time it worked. And from then onwards, this noodles is added to our favourites list: D
The one I am reviewing today is the chicken flavor, but I really didn’t get the chicken flavor. ( I wonder how do they create artificial chicken flavor that too in a powder form :P)
Maggie is that one top brand which I would like to compare it with. Unlike Maggie, it does take few more minutes to cook. Hmmm…That tests our patience a lot; at times we are totally hungry! Moreover Maggie has its own version for each country as per the taste variations. Indomie may not please Indian taste buds at large (I guess).
The noodles that is now available, doesn’t come up with the onion oil and soy sauce seasoning (May be they have given it a skip). My family has developed a liking towards it opposite to the few initial thumbs down. This too can be prepared in jiffy just like Maggi. Boil some water, cook it and add the seasonings. If you can spent some more time, obviously you could add the veggies.
Pros of Indomie Instant Noodles Chicken Flavor
- Your hunger can be calmed down with this in a few minutes(around 4-5 minutes).
- It is not that sticky like Maggi.
- Available in variant forms like Curry flavor, Chicken, Spicy beef, special chicken, Fried Noodles, Mi Goreng Satay Fried noodles, Green chili, Vegetable, Chicken curry, hot and spicy etc.
Cons of Indomie Instant Noodles Chicken Flavor
- Availability in India is an issue.
- The flavor enhancer E 621 is the same villain called Mono Sodium Glutamate aka Agino Motto.
- Takes a few minutes extra to cook completely.
- Might be a little more salty for some.
Rating of Indomie Instant Noodles Chicken Flavor: 4/5
Will I repurchase Indomie Instant Noodles Chicken Flavor: I will buy it again for sure!
