Chocolate has always been a favorite for not only kids but grown ups too. And specially for us ladies its a treat that is welcome any hour of the day or night.

Kit Kat is a chocolate covered wafer biscuit bar and is now produced worldwide by Nestle except in US where it is made under license by the Hershey Company.


Nestle KitKat

It contains four layers of chocolate with two wafers inside. These wafers make it crispy and crunchy
It comes in various sizes in India; I took 37.3 Grams pack containing four fingers and each finger containing 9.3 Grams weight with 43Kcal of energy.
It is based on a concept that every brake is a source of inspiration, so to energize every break you have a Kit Kat.

Nestle KitKat

It is a new concept in the chocolate market that includes wafer with smooth chocolate layered on it. It is crispy because of wafers but at the same time it is soft which makes it different from others. Chocolate melts in your mouth and wafer makes it crispy.

  • Price: Rs 20 for 37.3gms
  • Shelf life for this is nine months.
  • Storage in cool & dry place

Apparently, Nestle Kit Kat was in news recently but not for good reasons. Some of the bars contained plastic. But as soon as Nestle got to know about it, they recalled the bars and apologized  The company also said that they will refund the money. Well, at least they are following business ethics and fulfilling their corporate social responsibility. Pros of Nestle Kit Kat:

  • Light in weight as well as calories as compared to other chocolates
  • Full of energy
  • Easily available

Cons of Nestle Kit Kat:

Contains hydrogenated vegetable oil as a result of which tans fats are also present in this.
